Job Description: |
Our client is a well established niche trading house based in London with trading activities in base non-ferrous metals and minerals. There is a small staff of 10 people and turnover today is circa £50 million.
The company wishes to expand its base into trading new products. These should ideally be non-hazardous materials which do not require ship charter. Ideal analogous products to the current portfolio would therefore be polymers, plastics, solid basic chemicals or commodity materials.
The individual sought will develop his/her own book and be responsbible for managing all aspects of the trading activities of his/her products. A successful candidate would be expected to develop a turnover of circa £1 million within a reasonable timeframe. |

Candidate Requirements: |
You should be an experienced trader looking to develop 'your own thing' but under the umbrella and with the benefits of small team of colleagues with which to work.
Your trading experience could be in a range of products including; polymers, solid chemical products, food, flavours or fragrance ingredients or inorganic salts. If you have expertise in other qualifying products this would also be considered. |
